Presented by the Embassy of Brazil, The BG Trio comprises Bianca Gismonti, Julio Falavigna and Paolo Andriolo showcasing beautiful authorial compositions with unique harmonies and inspired melodies. Bianca Gismonti’s superb jazz-oriented music reveals a vigorous interaction and sensitivity. Her beautiful compositions come along with rich Brazilian rhythmic gesture, lyric harmonies and inspiring melodies. Paolo Adriolo has been performing as a blues musician in various Italian clubs and festivals, together with Italian and international artists since the 80s. During his intense artistic career, Paolo has collaborated with some of the main Italian jazz, pop, ethnic and folk musicians and also worked in several tours with blues-jazz American singers. Julio Falavigna is a drummer/ multi percussionist with world-wide experience. His musical interests cover a vast array of styles, from rock/blues to Brazilian popular music and he has produced four records with his wife, pianist/composer Bianca Gismonti.
